24th - 28th September 2016 Artist Statement 'While the upwardly mobile classes grow ever more financially secure and self-congratulatory - wealth creates wealth - vast sections of the UK population face a daily struggle to pay bills and feed and clothe their families.
My work examines this underlying social rift and growing disenchantment from the perspective of a white, working class female but deliberately moves away from the consciously fashionable and the consciously sophisticated.
Instead, I deliberately chose to create - make social commentary - using mainstream and affordable materials - glitter, acrylics, pencil, spray paint, even A4 office paper. This is passionate and angry Art. This is political Art. This is Art for all. Feel the passion and enjoy it.'
